2015 in review

Hello everyone, it’s been a interesting year and I according to my stats, I’ve had nearly double the amount of visitors than last year! It may only be about 250 hits but thanks for everyone who’s visited. If you want to have a look at all the cool stuff you can click on the link below.

If you’re looking for my best post of the year, it’s going to be the guest post I did.

See you around in 2016!

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 260 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 4 trips to carry that many people.

Reflections – Poem

A poem that I wrote some time ago alongside a picture taken by a lake at sunset:

Reflections is
a multiple meaning word,
or words?
A reflection can

Be something you
see in a
mirror, yourself,
our other items…

Or an opposite
world with people
who look like you and
me but write backwards…

It could be a thought
of something that
happened long ago, drifting in
your mind like a bubble

only with memories and
information, trapped for
ever… What’s a reflection?
Good question…

The first day…

The first day...

The first day…

Happy New Year!

This is following on from this post (“The last day…”) and is a picture of my calendar for today, the first day of January 2015!

Thanks to all of my followers for liking and following in the first place!

(By the way, if you are on 500px, I am posting all of my photos here: )

You probably haven’t noticed but this is the same theme as my old blog, Skeptical, except the background colour is different (from blue to green). I chose green because it reminds me of electronic circuits! (I don’t even know if that’s a good reason)

EDIT: I don’t like green any more. Blue is officially better.

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I decided to make a new blog because I had another one which had a title that didn’t suit what I really wanted to blog about. You can check out my other blog here.

I’m going to be blogging about a couple of things that I generally like: technology (anything from phones to operating systems to gadgets), science and photography.

I don’t really want to tell you that I’m going to write at regular intervals because I’ve found out that that never works. I’m going to try to write one post every week but if this is too little I might change it. I hope you enjoy it!

EDIT: By the way, I think I’ll probably copy this to my about page.

Janet's Writing Blog

I write southern historical fiction. The novel I'm writing is set in the Carolinas in the 1760s. I blog about my journey as a writer and a reader. Come along for the ride!
